He Sees You

Psalm 18:6, "But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears" (NLT).
Do you ever feel like you're screaming at the top of your lungs but no one hears you? Do you ever feel like you've give your all, your energy is spent, but nothing has been accomplished? Have you ever yearned to go somewhere, do something, change something... but you go nowhere, your attempts amount to nothing, and you can't seem to change anything? When mountains don't move, and people don't change, and dreams don't come true. When all you want to do is go but all you hear is stay. When your heart is tired. When you see injustice. When you watch chaos and you're powerless to stop it. When your heart is tangled up in knots, and your stomach is sick. When tears flow freely from your eyes.
When hope is deferred and it makes your heart ache... can you see your Savior's eyes? Can You see His outstretched hand? Can you feel His warm embrace? Do you know He's close? Closer than your very next breath? When you're tired and weary and you feel far from relief, do you know you He is carrying you; holding you close to His heart? (Isaiah 40:11). Whatever it is that makes you feel like you're screaming but no one can hear you... whatever it is that's left you tired, and weary, and crying on the floor, know that there is One who listens even when all seems silent. Your cry echoes in the halls of His sanctuary in Heaven, and He hears your voice. He hears your cries. He sees your tears. And though it's impossible to fathom, He knows the weight, the pain, the ache... He knows and He understands on a level we can't comprehend. And when our screams fade into silence, and our emotions make it impossible to form words, "the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words" (Rom. 8:26, ESV). You're not alone. You're not misunderstood. You're not abandoned or forgotten or left behind. He is with you. And He knows. He Himself is "acquainted with deepest grief" (Isaiah 53:3 NLT). So if you're crying on the floor, don't cry alone. Cry out to Him, and He will hear your voice. And He will draw near to you. And He will hold you in His arms.
Question: Do you feel alone today? Do you feel like nobody sees you?
